Welcome to Earth Systems
I love being able to instill a natural curiosity in my students. I'm not about filling their minds with facts, but about nourishing their natural hunger for discovery, by encouraging them to continuously question the physical world around them. ~ Anderson
"The scientist is not a person who gives the right answers, he's one who asks the right questions."
~ Claude Levi-Strauss 1964
Isidor Isaac Rabi, a Polish-American physicist who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1944 related the following about his childhood. "My mother made me a scientist without ever intending to. Every other Jewish mother in Brooklyn would ask her child after school, "So? Did you learn anything today?" But not my mother. "Izzy," she would say, "did you ask a good question today?" That difference - asking good questions - made me become a scientist."
