Letter of Recommendation from Dr. John Goldhardt
Dr. John Goldhardt was my instructor at Dixie State University for Educational Psychology, Classroom Management, Curriculum, Standards and Assessment and Student Teaching. Dr. Goldhardt not only was an excellent instructor but also a trusted mentor. Last fall, after I was offered to intern full time at Fossil Ridge Intermediate while finishing up full-time classes at Dixie State, he expressed his confidence in me by saying "April, if anyone can do it, YOU can!"

Letter of Recommendation from Mr. Bob Sonju
Mr. Bob Sonju was my original instructor at Dixie State University for EDUC 1010, Introduction to Education. Later, I was fortunate to work for Mr. Sonju at Fossil Ridge as a Practicum Student for 7th Grade Science. When my mentor teacher left to pursue another job opportunity, Mr. Sonju offered me the full-time teaching position as Intern. I took over all five 7th grade science classes while still completing full-time course work at Dixie State University. As he expresses in his letter, I performed well in my teaching responsibilities, while still getting straight As in my college courses.

Letter of Recommendation from Mr. Dale Barlow
Mr. Dale Barlow was my Supervisor from Dixie State University while I was Student Teaching at Fossil Ridge Intermediate. On his final evaluation of me he wrote,"From my observation April has demonstrated the highest standard in every way as a professional educator. She is ready in every respect to be a full time teacher. I would hire her in a minute!"

Practicum Teaching Evaluation from Dr. Pamela Cantrell
Dr. Cantrell was my instructor at Dixie State University for Content Methods and Instruction. She was also my practicum observer and evaluator. The attached evaluation is for her observation of an inquiry lesson that I designed and taught that included both a classroom and laboratory component. I'll never forget the comment she made while I visited with her briefly after the lesson, "In all my experience, that was the best lesson I have observed so far. Excellent!"
